DVD covers and DVDs

I realized the other day, that I have yet to post a sample of my DVD covers and DVD. I had one order this week, and remembered to take photos of it to show as samples!! It was a fun project!!

Strike a Pose | Tulsa Children's Photographer

She likes to sit behind me, grabbing her brother's attention and making him smile! She's all about "helping" me when I take photos of my little guy!! This time, I turned the camera on her, as she was trying to make someone else smile, and the image makes me smile every time I look at it. It's so her!! She strikes the funniest pose to make others smile or laugh, but she won't do it voluntarily when the camera is on her!!

Such a fun age, I love 3 year olds!! The light was beautiful, but it didn't last very long. Meet little A. She's quite the young lady and was full of smiles!

Surprise Birthday Gift | Tulsa Family Photographer

A friend, and neighbor, of mine called yesterday asking if I could do a last minute photo session today. She told me they were having a surprise birthday party for her mother in law, and wanted family portraits as her birthday gift!! I couldn't pass it up! I LOVE surprises, and I was honored that they would contact me. So, we went out this afternoon and got some great shots!! They were a fun bunch, and I have a lot to go through, but for now here is a sneak peek of their session! Enjoy!

I have watched this little girl grow into a bouncy, fun young 3 year old. I cannot wait to do her 3 year old portraits. These were just snapped in my backyard this morning when she came to play with my boys!! Hope momma likes them!!

Little Dustmites | Tulsa Children's Photographer

Do you ever wonder why your house is so dusty all the time...or maybe it's just my house. It seems like I've just dusted and then turn around and the coffee table, or night table are covered again in dust!! Well, this morning as I was getting the baby ready to go drop off my oldest at school something caught his attention. Turns out that when I turned his sweater sleeve from inside out a bunch of little dust mites went floating through the air. He just stared for a little bit, then reached out to grab some--of course I had to grab my camera. But by the time I got back he was just watching and had figured out, I guess, that he could not grab anything....so, this is what I captured. I love it!! All those little specs, are NOT dust in my lens, they were the actual little dustbites floating all around him!! So, the simple act of turning a sleeve right side out released a bunch of dustmites through the air....no wonder there is dust EVERYWHERE!! But I did love this moment, and I will cherish the memory of watching my son's little hand reach out to grab something new!
