Well, he would be smack in the middle if we were to have another baby. BUT somehow I don't think that's going to happen....so, he's the middle boy of the three...at three years old this little guy is super busy, super happy, super cuddly, and super loving. He's my one that comes downstairs every single morning to snuggle me and wake me up with butterfly kisses and caresses on my cheek as he says "mommy, wake up". i LOVE this guy. Unlike my youngest, who hardly likes to show off his dimple, this little guy is non-stop smiles. If he is not smiling, something is wrong...I know it.

I find myself with less and less time and energy to photograph my own children. My goal is to get a nice photo of my kids each year, on their birthday. However, the first two years are a bit different. I shoot for NB, 3mos, 6mos, 12mos and 18mos...then we move to yearly. Well, baby No 4 has been slighted, I'm afraid. I don't think I did a 12 mos shoot with him, and he's changing so much! This morning, I somehow found time to change out his wardrobe to clothes that ACTUALLY fit him, clean up my studio, set up a background and lights, and SHOOT a little bit....As I said he got a whole new wardrobe this morning...he's 17mos old now, and the 18mos clothes that were in his drawer just were not doing the trick anymore. He's pretty much in 24mos clothes, and some 2T...Anyway, so I found some new clothes (new clothes for him...his older two brothers have worn them at his age)...and stocked his closet up with "new" shirts, pants, pjs, and what is more fun for me at this age, shorts. I absolutely go crazy for chubby chubby bare feet!! This guy has got the cutest chubby feet. Now, as far as the shooting went...well, I got a few, but man did I work for them. My little guy has the cutest smile and single dimple (just like his momma), but he's not one to show it in front of the camera. No smiles, but some cute expressions that are totally him. Then, big brother jumped in for a few...but I'll leave those for the next post. Here's N at 17mos (this counts as his 18mos photos :))

I have a total of 7 nieces. This little cutie is the youngest. She is so sweet. So petite. And such a doll. I pulled her aside for a couple of shots. With little ones, usually I shoot a few frames to make sure I "got the shot" I was looking for. With this little angel, I snapped the first frame and knew I had it! PERFECTION! Little Eva...
