It wasn't just any ol'fall day though...in fact we had lost an hour that day, due to daylight savings. As I drove to the location, I wondered if we would get rained out; the clouds were rolling in. However, in the direction I was headed it seemed to still be happy with sun. By the time I got there, though, the sun decided to hide behind the clouds and we had overcast skies the entire shoot...but you'd never know it had I not told you...now would you?? Location?? Let's just say beautiful, and I felt so privileged to be back at the same location from a few posts ago, A Fun Family. So, same beautiful location...but a bit different lighting scenario...beautiful nonetheless!! Take a look at this beautiful family and tell me if the sun doesn't seem to be shining? :)
and one of my favorites...

Newborn | Tulsa Newborn Photographer
Okay, so I just realized that I've committed a huge faux pas. How could I have left out this image from this sweet baby's newborn session slideshow. This is one of my favorite newborn poses, just because it is super super cute and sweet, but I also give myself a huge pat on the back when I capture it, because it is a little challenging, and takes a LOT of patience--especially when baby is nearly 6 weeks old. But this little guy, once he was out, he was out and held his chin up all by himself for a good 2 mins or so...I LOVE this shot of baby "P"...
Loving Fall | Tulsa Family Photographer
It was a beautiful fall afternoon...right before the rain came just the next day. The setting was amazing, the light just perfect, and the family great!! The wind picked up a bit, but we still got some great shots. Thanks "H" Family for a fun shoot!
...enjoy the whole session!

Newborn Sweeetness | Tulsa Newborn Photographer
This little guy was a delight. He was born just a few days after my little guy, and came to see me at nearly six week old. Even at 6 weeks old, i was still able to capture some sweet sleeping newborn shots. How fun is that?? Thanks baby "P" for coming to see me...I think mom really liked the images, and that makes me happy...because I've succeeded at my job!

A Fun Family | Tulsa Family Photographer
I feel so privileged and blessed to meet such neat people. This family is no exception. When she booked her appointment and said she wanted portraits made in her parents wooded backyard, I was a little nervous yet excited at the same time. I was excited that it was a new location, and I was nervous that it was a new location...let me explain. I LOVE new places, but I also like to know places before I shoot...so that I know the light. Well, let me just tell you that this backyard is a photographer's dream backdrop. It is so picturesque, and so many different spots with the perfect light to shoot in. I loved working with them...thanks "H" Family for choosing as your photographer.
